Ordered a 6x20 and received a 5x20 for some reason. Tried to reply to email about it and had trouble. Couldn’t wait to try it so I used the 5x20 anyway 🤣 I must say it works great! Hold temp real well. Would definitely rather have the 6x20 soon
Hey! We're trying to reach ya via your email. We'll get you sorted!
I’ve used exotic dabbing materials for years (diamondium/lite/mono sic/ fumed pillars) but for some reason ALN (A material I have avoided like the plague due to certain creators being insane and the off gassing problems with very low quality ALN, IYKYK) but the purity of ALN here makes all the difference. When you start using this and cleaning it you will instantly understand the difference vs quartz (and ruby/sapphire to a lesser extent) the pillar stays incredibly hot for minutes post dab. Its weighty and feels much more dense compared to any other material I’ve used. I have spent so much on SE and other high end functional quartz but this currently is better than anything I personally have tried. There are zero effects health wise in case you need reassurance. 3 weeks straight of constant use and the lower temps this allows has probably helped my overall lung health! 490 with ALN produces similar vaporization efficiency as quartz does at 530-550.
I have the 5x20 & 5x30 AIN pillars and OMG is the difference insane!!!!! OM Quartz customer service is amazing as well. Answered any question I had and was very nice. If these ever restock I’m going after the pearls next!!
drops temps by a good 40 degrees
Best Pillar ive ever used we are just hoping to get some off gassing tests possibly if it doesnt rob you to figure out if the material is safe long term, because i love these pillars dudes!
Appreciate you bringing up that question/concern! These rods are made from fully sintered, lab-tested aluminum nitride (AlN), a premium technical ceramic that remains stabe at temperatures far beyond those encountered during vaporization use.
Fully sintered AlN is an inorganic ceramic and does not off-gas under normal conditions (we recommend not exceeding 1400F but the limit is far higher technically).
We chose Pinnacle Pillars because the real question is if the material you are getting is actually AlN, and this is why they publish the material test results so customers can review the material certification and composition for themselves.
Off-gassing tests are possible, but they're not typically even performed on fully sintered aluminum nitride because it's a stable technical ceramic rather than an organic material that can readily release vapors. Our AlN has been independently tested and verified, and based on the material's composition and properties, it is not expected to off-gas under normal use.
The Pinnacle Pillars team does continual testing to ensure batches are consistent with proper results to ensure consistent results, safety, & transparency!
