Aluminum Nitride (AlN) is a high-performance thermal ceramic commonly used in advanced electronics and industrial thermal applications where fast, efficient heat movement is critical.

Pinnacle Pillars AlN inserts are made from fully sintered material, meaning they are properly densified and stabilized for high-heat use. AlN is known for its ability to move heat extremely quickly, transferring heat roughly 15–25x faster than quartz. In real terms, that means a more responsive insert that does not rely as heavily on long heat soak times to start performing.

Pinnacle Pillars Use & Care

• DO NOT TORCH AlN DIRECTLY
• Heat up inside banger when using an electric heating device
• If torching, heat banger fully then drop AlN pillar/pearls inside while Hot.
• AlN is stable up to 1400°F
• Before cleaning allow AlN to cool down to under 200° before dunking in iso or rinsing with boiling water but use caution as AlN still feels hot at 125°F +
• Do not leave AlN soaking for extended periods, a short soak and wipe is all that's needed.
