I thought people were exaggerating when they wrote or spoke about diamondium. I thought it was all marketing BS, and that it was a waste of money when sintered SIC is so cheap nowadays. I was wrong.
The oil basically explodes into vapor when it touches these. It's crazy to watch. I thought I'd notice a difference in taste too, but sadly, I honestly don't. It's basically the same as sintered SIC in flavor. I guess it makes sense that they're similar, since the only difference is purity and crystal structure between them. It might taste "more," if that makes sense, but nothing entirely "new," like people wrote.
But, the major difference between SIC and these, is how much more oil actually vaporizes. With these, there's noticeably less waste, and what's left is dark and completely spent. Re-heats with SIC will still have taste and effect, while a re-heat with these was just burning away lipids and gross plant fats.
In the end, they were expensive as hell. I also wish my taste buds were stronger and that I could notice the difference in taste. But, I still think they were worth it for their efficiency alone. I was hesitant because of the cost, but I'm happy with them in the end. Thank you, Om!
